I found Spanish Connection via google and booked for my daughter an 1:1 intensive GCSE Spanish preparation course for one week. It was over Zoom and her teacher Eva was amazing! She worked out a plan for the week which included all important parts for the upcoming exams. She gave homework, which she marked before the next lesson and went through it the next day together with my daughter. Eva was a very professional, patient and a nice teacher. I can highly recommend Spanish Connection because it a trustworthy Language School which has a very high standard in their procedures and very skilled and trained teachers.

Very good independent language school at affordable prices. The teachers are knowledgeable and patient, there's a great dynamic within our group. Pace of learning is on the slower side (which will work for most) and focused on conversation/verbal comprehension. Prior to the pandemic their locations were very central, which was great since most people seem to take afterwork classes. They've since switched to online classes, however that hasn't hurt the learning experience at all. Management is very responsive and accommodating - one of the advantages of a smaller school. All good!

Spanish Connection have set me up with a very good Spanish teacher and definitely have really come into their own during lockdown when all the lessons that i’ve had have been on Zoom. Their admin is efficient and they make it easy to renew. Term dates have been organised to suit my, and my teacher’s, availability. Lessons are interesting and we cover a lot of ground at a good pace. My teacher, Roberto, has made each lesson relevant to my needs and is always encouraging me to stretch myself. I am really enjoying my lessons and my spoken Spanish and my reading ability has increased dramatically. Roberto is trying to help me with my aural comprehension, which is the bit I find most difficult, but I am persevering with the positive approach he adopts.

Hello Marta, I would like to extend my thanks to all three tutors who enthusiastically guided my son Charlie through his Summer Holiday intensive lessons week. Xisca’s classes are productive and enjoyable. She has the right balance between keeping the discussions in Spanish and explaining a concept in English which is sometimes necessary to ensure a complete understanding.

Just wanted to drop you a quick note. This morning's session with Xisca was fantastic. Having had no structured approach to learning Spanish before, this was great and we covered a lot in a short time. Which was perfect. And has given me much better understanding on a number of topics. I have just ordered the AULA book and going to pick it up this afternoon! Want to be practicing and learning before Monday's next lesson. Lots of work for me to do, but I have lots of time over the next 2 months so plan to use it wisely!

Hola Martha Muy bien, ¿y tu? Ah! Eva is beyond great. I can’t express how much I’m enjoying and looking forward for the classes every week. Eva is a great teacher one can ask for. She personalises classes based on the student’s personality which is a great thing.

Eva is confident, engaging, energetic, playful, and super fun.

Fatima seems like a warm and pleasant woman, so this is a good start.

I’m so impressed with your teachers and method and I’m sure this is the best way to continue their Spanish.
